Orange Wallet Integrates FIO Send to Enable Easy & Error-Free Crypto Transactions
The Foundation for Interwallet Operability (FIO) is excited to announce Orange Wallet’s completed integration of FIO Send. This integration allows users of Orange Wallet to easily send any type of cryptocurrency to human-readable FIO Crypto Handles in other FIO-integrated wallets, exchanges, NFT platforms, and more.
An FIO Crypto Handle is a human-readable wallet address (e.g. username@domain) that replaces the need to send cryptocurrency using long-string public wallet addresses. FIO Send makes sending cryptocurrency as simple as sending an email, mitigating one of the biggest stress points for new and experienced users alike: managing complex wallet addresses. Orange Wallet’s integration of FIO Send brings increased usability and an even simpler cryptocurrency experience to its global user base.
Orange Wallet is a non-custodial mobile wallet specifically focused on the growing multi-chain ecosystem, DeFi and NFTs. As the first cross-chain DeFi and NFT aggregator, Orange Wallet is built to give users a simplified, secure, and single point of access to DeFi, NFT, IDOs, and DAOs across an array of EVM-based chains.
It’s also one of the first mobile wallets designed entirely for multiple networks, with a mission to enable an experience so seamless that users don’t even realize they’re using multiple networks. Move funds and NFTs from one network to another, use DeFi on every chain, and participate in protocols across the multi-chain cryptoverse with full interoperability that offers:
- A single app to manage all assets on all DeFi protocols.
- A mobile wallet for Polygon, inclusive of WalletConnect support, staking, and DeFi.
- The ability to buy cryptocurrency without leaving your wallet via an inbuilt faucet.
And with Orange Wallet’s integration of FIO Send, users can now send any type of cryptocurrency to an FIO-enabled platform without the stress of copying and pasting long string public addresses. FIO Send replaces the need for handling that complex public address with a simple, human-readable FIO Crypto Handle, like jane@wallet or john@hodl. Orange Wallet users no longer need to worry about mistyping, miscopying, or succumbing to an exploit that alters the receiving wallet address when trying to send funds; with FIO Send in Orange Wallet, users now have an even more seamless way to interact cross-chain by transferring any type of cryptocurrency without the stress of accidentally losing funds to a typo.
